A disheveled businessman scrambles to the door of his office building on a windy Austin morning. He’s late! He’s late! For a very important date! The board is waiting to hear his new product pitch and traffic was ab-so-lute-ly horrific. He is reaching for the door, clutching a jumble of paper that constitutes his pitch- when disaster strikes! A big gust of wind blows up straight from the bowels of hell and turns his sales presentation into a very valuable little tornado of paper, swirling up into the autumn sky…
…If only our poor bedraggled businessman had invested in some handy dandy pocket folders prior to the tragic day of his presentation. Not only would these little gems have allowed him to organize his pitch into a nice personal packet for each board member, they would’ve also kept his papers snug and safe from the dastardly wind. On top of that, a well-designed pocket folder can act as an excellent lead-in to any self-respecting sales pitch. Alas, and woe is he, for our scruffy businessman has not one pocket folder to his name.
But fear not for his story is not over! He is begging the Chairman of the Board for one more chance. In exchange for a bottle of brandy and a box of Arturo Fuente cigars, the Chairman reluctantly agrees. With renewed gusto the businessman sallies forth from the office and heads across town to Print Shoppe. With the speed and precision of mystic warrior poets, the Print Shoppe staff turns his jumbled mess into nicely organized packets of selling power. On the day of his rescheduled sales pitch, the businessman walks into the boardroom with the strength of a bull and the confidence of Achilles…
So, if you’re ever stepping up to the plate for a big sales pitch, keep in mind our disheveled businessman. Doubtless he is out there, even now, sitting in the suite of some plush high-rise, savoring the fruits of his labor. When he looks out over the land and sees Print Shoppe twinkling in the distance, he winks and smiles. He knows, as do we all, that Print Shoppe provides the well-designed pocket folders that turned the tornado of his sales pitch into a calm tropical breeze.
